Privacy Policy
Last updated 26 September 2026. This policy covers the website at selfstorageinvestorblueprint.com and the Storage Underwriter iPhone app.
The website
selfstorageinvestorblueprint.com has no accounts, sign-up forms, newsletters, advertising, analytics or tracking scripts, and it sets no cookies.
- Calculators run in your browser. The figures you type are processed on your device and are not sent to us. The most recent inputs for each calculator are saved in your browser's local storage so they reappear on your next visit. You can remove them by clearing this site's data in your browser, or with the reset link on a calculator.
- Hosting. The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical information that browsers send with each request (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Vercel's privacy policy. We do not use that information to identify or profile visitors.
- Fonts and assets are served from this site, not from third-party font or script services.
- If you contact us by email or phone, we receive what you send (such as your email address, phone number and message) and use it only to reply.
- Links to other websites, including the App Store and cited sources, are governed by those sites' own policies.
The Storage Underwriter app
Storage Underwriter does not collect, transmit, sell or share your data. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone.
What the app stores
The deals you underwrite: facility names and addresses, unit mixes, rents, income and expense figures, acquisition costs, financing terms, stabilization, expansion and exit assumptions, notes, and your investment targets. This is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device database. It is included in your own device backups under your Apple Account; the developer has no access to those backups.
What the app does not do
- No account or sign-in. No name, email address or phone number is requested.
- No servers of its own. The app makes no network requests of its own and works fully offline.
- No analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking software, and no third-party SDKs.
- No location, contacts, camera, microphone, photo library or notification permissions are requested.
- No data is shared with brokers, lenders, sellers or anyone else.
PDF reports
When you export an investment memorandum, the PDF is created on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet. It goes only to the app, service or person you choose, and what happens to it after that is governed by that recipient.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. The app receives only the subscription status needed to unlock Pro and never sees your name, Apple Account or payment details. Apple's handling of purchase information is described in Apple's privacy policy.
Deleting your data
Delete any deal from the library by pressing and holding it and choosing Delete. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your iPhone. Your saved deals are never deleted because a subscription ends.
Children
The website and the app are tools for real-estate investors and are not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date, and app changes will ship with an app update.
